Liberty picked up a commitment from defensive back Ricky Lester on Sunday as he wrapped up his recruiting visit.
Lester is a 2 star rated prospect that had offers from several FCS schools including Northern Colorado, Abilene Christian, and Incarnate Word. He had committed to Northern Colorado in September before the FBS Flames got involved. Lester is a 6’2″, 175 pound prospect from Houston, Texas where he attends St. Pius X.
He joins a 2018 class that includes 19 prospects who signed in December, 5 additional verbal commitments, and a transfer from Colorado. Lester and his fellow verbals can sign as early as February 8th.
