Hunter Goetz, a 2-star defensive back prospect, has committed to Liberty. The 6’2″, 175 pound prospect hails from Miami, Florida where he attends Miami Central High School. Goetz chose Liberty over offers from Rutgers, Bethune-Cookman, Morgan State, and South Carolina State.
Hunter is the son of Chris Goetz, who played his collegiate football at Pittsburgh and also spent some time in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers and New York Jets.
Goetz is the 13th commitment in the class of 2018 for the Flames, a class which could reach as high as 25 prospects as Liberty continues to increase its scholarship numbers to the FBS maximum of 85.
