Update 4/27/15: Atencia has signed with Liberty.

Atencia has picked up an offer from Liberty to add to his offer from Marshall. He is originally from Colombia, but is currently attending Mountain Mission High School in Grundy, Virginia. Atencia also has some international playing experience as he played for Bucaros during the 2013-14 season. During his senior season, he averaged 8.5 points, 5.2 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game.
