Coach McKay and his staff have popped on the radar for the first time since coming together just over a week ago. The Flames have shown interest in 2015 point guard prospect Lovell Cabbil. He has offers from Southeast Missouri State, Southern University and Division II Tarleton State. Texas-Arlington, Louisiana Lafayette, and Nebraska have also been showing interest. Cabbil averaged 23 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals per game during his senior season.

Hmmmm. We looked at coaches named LeVelle and LaVall, and now a player named Lovell. Third time the charm?
release is a little low, may have trouble getting his shot off against D1 defenders. But his ability to break people down and get into the lane collapsing the defense definitely fits coach’s style. Shows good vision and ability to finish at the rim. Great open shooter.
