The 2015 Liberty football spring roster has been updated online, and there are 10 names missing from the 2014 team that still had eligibility remaining:
- OL Dylan Brucki – a redshirt-sophomore from Cave Spring High School in Roanoke.
- OL Ethan Callison – a junior from Fort Defiance, Virginia. He was part of the 2-deep in 2014 and has 2 career starts.
- WR Justin Fritts – a redshirt-sophomore from Charlotte. He played in 9 games in 2014, mainly on special teams, recording 3 tackles. He was also part of the 2-deep at wide receiver.
- OL Cody Gochenouer – a redshirt-senior from Napa, California.
- RB Kevin Grooms – a transfer from Marshall. We reported him leaving the team in early December.
- TE Garrett Long – a senior from Durham, North Carolina. He played in 7 games in 2014 and recorded 21 kick return yards.
- WR Theo Mayo – a redshirt-sophomore from Alexandria, Virginia.
- QB Javan Shashaty – a junior from Plantation, Florida. He was Liberty’s starting holder in 2014 and 3rd string QB.
- RB Joshua Smith – a redshirt-sophomore from Arlington, Texas. He broke his leg in 2014 and missed the majority of the season.
- OL Kris Wilson – a junior from Richmond, Virginia.
