Liberty has added a commitment from 2025 forward Andrew Grimes from Clayton High School in Clayton, North Carolina.
Grimes commits to Liberty after taking an official visit to campus this past weekend. The 6’8″ forward also had offers from Appalachian State, Radford, and UC San Diego. This past season as a sophomore, Grimes averaged 17.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 55% from the field and 76% from the free throw line.
Grimes joins 6’6″ wing Zander Carter as the early commits for the Flames in the Class of 2025. Liberty also has commits from 2024 prospects Brett Decker and Will Gibson.
