Liberty has picked up a commitment from Class of 2025 defensive line prospect Gavin Askew.
Askew is a 6’4″, 245 pound defensive line prospect from Powder Springs, Georgia and Hillgrove High School. As a junior, Askew recorded 50 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and one pass breakup.
He has offers from UConn, East Carolina, Temple, Western Kentucky, Air Force, Army, Delaware, Ball State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Delaware, Kennesaw State, Miami Ohio, and others.
Askew is the 13th commitment for the Flames in the Class of 2025 and is the third defensive line prospect to commit in the class, joining Jeff Hairston and Sam Cohen.
