Liberty has picked up a commitment from 2025 quarterback Ethan Houck.

Houck is a 6’4″, 205 pound quarterback from Brunswick High School and Brunswick Maryland. As a junior last season, he completed 91 of 141 passes for 1,503 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed 74 times for 825 yards and an additional 13 scores.

Houck has picked up offers from Charlotte and several FCS schools. He will join a Liberty quarterback room that currently features Kaidon Salter, Ryan Burger, Nate Hampton, and Jayden Bradford, all of whom have eligibility remaining for the 2025 season.

He commits to Liberty following a weekend visit to Lynchburg as part of 14 official visitors to campus. So far, in addition to Houck, the Flames have also received a commitment from 2025 DB Davion Dean following the weekend.
