Two players wear #22 for the Flames – Todd Macon and Dallas Griffiths.
Macon is a true freshman running back from St. Petersburg, Florida and Admiral Farragut Academy. The 5’10” 210 pound back rushed for more than 3,800 yards during his high school career including nearly 1,500 yards during his senior season.
Griffiths received a medical redshirt following his first season at Liberty in 2012. Griffiths is originally from Monticello, Florida and North Florida Christian High School, and he is the younger brother of Chase Griffiths who played for the Flames in 2011 and 2012 after transferring from South Florida. The 6’2″ 225 pound linebacker played in the first 3 games of the season before suffering a season-ending hand injury. He recorded 3 tackles in a reserve role prior to his injury. Dallas is one of the highest rated recruits to come into Liberty in recent years, and he verbally committed to Maryland prior to signing with the Flames in February 2012.
