The Flames head to Clinton, South Carolina to take on the Presbyterian Blue Hose in a Big South Conference game. Here’s what they need to do to win:
1 – Stay In The Moment
This game could easily be a trap game for the Flames. They’re coming off an emotional overtime win over Gardner-Webb and are probably looking forward to next week’s huge clash with Charleston Southern. But they first need to take care of business today against the Blue Hose. Put Presbyterian away, and next week’s game becomes the Big South Championship.
2 – Get The Offense Clicking Again
The Liberty offense really struggled to move the ball last week against the GW defense. They’ll be looking to get the offense moving again before the big game against Charleston Southern next week. If Buckshot and the offense can catch fire, they’ll head into next week’s game with much needed confidence.
3 – Lean On The Defense
It’s been a common theme for Liberty this year, but the defense has been the strong point of the team this year. The Blue Hose offense has struggled mightily this year, so look for the Flames defense to control the game. If they are able to shut the Presbyterian offense, the Flames should go on to win.
