Liberty’s 2021 class took a hit on Thursday when 3-star wide receiver Gamarion Carter decommitted from the Flames. Carter is the 9th decommit the Flames have had over the past several weeks as the 2021 class his shrunk to just 12 current commitments.
Carter is a 6’2″, 175 pound wide receiver from Toccoa, Georgia where he attends Stephens County High School. He is a 3-star rated prospect according to Rivals and had offers from Army, Charlotte, Miami (OH), Navy, and several FCS schools when he committed to the Flames. In recent weeks, Carter has picked up offers from Virginia Tech, MTSU, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt.
WR Bobby Ezzard also decommitted earlier this week. 3-star WR Kylen Austin is currently the only committed wide receiver prospect in Liberty’s 2021 class.
