3-star defensive line prospect Karsen Perkins picked up an offer from the Flames on March 1st to go along with several other offers including Charlotte and Akron. The 6’6″, 245 pound prospect committed to defensive line coach Josh Aldridge and Liberty Saturday morning.

Perkins plays tight end and defensive end for Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord, North Carolina where he recorded 52 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 25 QB hurries, 12 sacks, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in 14 games.
He becomes the highest rated of the 11 commitments in the Class of 2020, narrowly beating out Ahmad Jackson with an 84 rating according to 247.
