Liberty is included in Davion Weatherspoon’s top four schools, he has announced on twitter. The Flames join Army, Ohio, and Austin Peay in this group.
Weatherspoon is a 3-star center, according to both 247Sports and Rivals, from Detroit, Michigan where he attends Harper Woods High School. 247Sports currently ranks him as the 11th best center in the country. In addition to these top 4, he also has offers from Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Kentucky, Michigan, and several FCS schools. Weatherspoon took an unofficial visit to Michigan last October.
He is a 6’2″, 310 pound prospect who is rated as one of the top Class of 2021 targets from Michigan. Liberty picked up its first commitment of the 2021 class in Harrison Hayes earlier this month.
