Liberty picked up its 18th commitment in the class of 2018, and 5th of the week as Brendan Schlittler announced his pledge Thursday evening. He’s a 3 star prospect according to 247Sports and 2 star according to Rivals.
Schlittler is a 6’5″, 300 pound prospect from Eureka Senior High School in Eureka, Missouri, who was 1st team All-State after recording 76 pancakes and allowing zero sacks all year. He also helped pave the way for Hassan Haskins, Eureka’s running back who has committed to Michigan. Schlittler chose the Flames over numerous offers, including Army and Northern Illinois at the FBS level. He chose Liberty after visiting Lynchburg this past weekend with 5 other prospects.
