Liberty got arguably its highest rated commitment in the history of the program over the weekend when 3-star Brayden Monday pledged to Gill and the Flames. He picked Liberty over offers from Ohio State, Florida, Charlotte, FIU, NC State, Georgia State, East Carolina, and Tulane.
Monday is a 6’5″, 250 pound prospect from Tuscola High School in Waynesville, North Carolina. The 2019 prospect projects as a tight end, but could also be moved to the defensive side of the ball at defensive end or linebacker.
Monday becomes the 9th verbal commitment of the class of 2019 and the 3rd 3-star prospect joining QB Johnathan Bennett and WR C.J. Yarbrough.
