Liberty’s 2020 football class continues to get filled out as Hugh Freeze and staff picked up a commitment from Michael James, Jr.
The 6’0″, 200 pound wide receiver from Colonial Heights, Virginia committed following a campus visit for the 7-on-7 team camp. James attends Life Christian Academy and is a 3-star rated prospect according to 247 Sports. He also had offers from Rutgers and Southern Miss. This past season, he hauled in 46 receptions for 901 yards and 9 touchdowns. 247 Sports currently ranks him as the 40th best prospect in Virginia, and he is the 4th commitment in the class from the Commonwealth.
