We’ve reached the top ten of our countdown! Rion Davis has played in each of the past 22 games, making 10 total starts. He finished 3rd on the team in tackles in 2017 with 51 while adding 2 interceptions, a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry, and 1.5 tackles for loss. Davis has spent most of his career to this point at SPUR, but will transition to primarily safety this season while still seeing time at the SPUR. He’s become much more of a leader during the offseason, taking several of the newcomers under his wing to help them adapt to the college game at Liberty.
