30 Players in 30 Days: #2 – Buckshot Calvert

It’s hard to believe Buckshot is already entering his 3rd season as the Flames’ starting quarterback, but here we are. He already owns most of the single season passing marks from his record breaking 2017 campaign, and he could set a number of career marks as soon as this season. The biggest thing the coaching staff harped on during training camp was for him to improve his leadership on and off the field. Coach Dailey also talked about Buckshot being more accurate on his deep passes. We all know he has the arm to make just about any throw, and with him behind center the Flames’ offense has the ability to score a lot of points.
