Hurtado transferred to Liberty from Fullerton College in the weeks leading up to the 2017 season. After battling injuries, he finished the 2017 season with 5 tackles in 7 games. After being named the most improved player on defense during spring practice, Hurtado is expected to make a big impact on the defensive line.
