Two players wear #6 for Liberty this season – Josh Woodrum and Tyrin Holloway.
Surely, you are all aware of Woodrum, Liberty’s starting quarterback. Josh is a redshirt-sophomore who took over as starting quarterback last season after battling with Brian Hudson. Josh went on to have a tremendous freshman campaign as he was named the Big South freshman of the year and VaSID offensive rookie of the year. He was 183/267 for 1,996 passing yards and 11 touchdowns. Big things are expected out of Woodrum in his first full season as Liberty’s starting quarterback.
Holloway is a true freshman corner back from Humble, Texas where he attended Atascocita High School. During his senior season, he had 67 tackles, two touchdowns, three interceptions and six forced fumbles. Holloway is battling for playing time as a reserve corner this season.
