1. John Lunsford shouldn’t be trusted within 50 yards.
It’s great having a weapon out to 60 yards like him, but he can’t be counted on for the “chip shots.” It’s gotten to the point where a change needs to be made, either be more aggressive going for it on 4th or try Echols inside of 40 yards.
2. Zac Parker fielding punts finally caught up to us.
How many times this season have you watched him field a punt with baited breathe? His muffed punt was just a matter of time.
3. Abnar’s career may be over.
We won’t know the severity of his injury until Tuesday at the earliest, but it didn’t look good.
4. Defense was unprepared for the GWU attack.
Which makes no sense. Their QB was their leading rusher coming in and Gill mentioned on Tuesday that they will show some option. So, why did we look lost in the first half?
5. The entire program needs to go back to the drawing board mentally.
Wasn’t Southern Illinois the wake up call? Performances like this are unacceptable.
6. We talk too much.
Stop proclaiming to be an FCS powerhouse and talking about a national championship. Shut up. Go to work. Win.
7. Playoffs? We must win out now.
That at-large bid we said was wrapped up a week ago? That’s gone. You don’t get an at-large with 2 bad FCS losses. And a 2 loss Big South team will not win the auto-bid.
It is time for Masha at qb. Woodrums size and lack of speed don’t allow for the option this year.
