| Sommer played for the St. Pauli Buccaneers in Germany |
#72 is Max Sommer. Sommer came out of Spring ball as the backup left tackle. The 6’6″ 260 lb offensive lineman comes to Liberty from Hamburg, Germany. While in Germany he was a three-time selection to the All-Hamburg team and was invited to play for the German national team. During his senior season in Germany, he was able to record14 sacks and five forced fumbles. Sommer continues the recent tradition of German football players at Liberty.
