Liberty has picked up a commitment from Aaron Pierre, per sources. Pierre is a 6’0″, 190 pound prospect from Cambridge-Christian School in Tampa, Florida. He also has offers from Bowling Green and Buffalo. Pierre is a 2-star prospect according to Scout. Pierre joins offensive lineman Cooper McCaw and linebacker Remington Green as early commits in the Class of 2017. Last season, Pierre carried the ball 33 times for 339 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also added 3 receptions for 11 yards. On defense, he recorded 61 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. He plays both safety and running back in high school, but based on the tweets from Liberty’s coaching staff it looks like he will begin his collegiate career on defense. He visited Liberty in June.
