Ritchie McKay has announced that A.C. Reid will transfer. He is scheduled to graduate from Liberty in May with a degree in sport management.
Reid played in all 35 games this season and was Liberty’s 6th man as he averaged 21.4 minutes per game. A 3-point specialist, Reid averaged 4.8 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game. He was Liberty’s Mr. Clutch this season, as he hit a game-winning three pointer from 24-feet on February 4th to help the Flames defeat Radford at the Vines Center. In the following game, he hit a 27-foot game-tying three pointer at Gardner-Webb to send the game into double overtime where Liberty would eventually win.
For his career, Reid played in 96 career games, making 18 starts and averaging 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
