Liberty wide receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden has been named to the 2018 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, given annually to the season’s outstanding FBS college receiver.
The announcement comes after AGG’s outstanding performance Saturday night at UMass where he hauled in 9 receptions for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the season, he leads the team with 51 receptions for 844 yards and 9 touchdowns in just 7 games. He currently ranks 3rd in the country in receiving yards per game, 8th in touchdowns, and 35th in receptions.
The Biletnikoff Award winner will be announced on the Home Depot College Football Awards show on December 6. 10 semifinalists will be announced on November 12th, and the 3 finalists will be announced on November 19th.
Previouis Biletnikoff Award winners include James Washington (Oklahoma State, 2017), Amari Cooper (Alabama, 2014), Calvin Johnson (Georgia Tech, 2006), Larry Fitzgerald (Pitt, 2003), and Randy Moss (Marshall, 1997).
