Shortly after the news broke of four-star quarterback Jayden Bradford committing to Liberty, I was able to join the Fast Lane with Ed Lane to discuss the news.
How will it impact the rest of the recruiting class? What does it mean for the Flames moving forward? Will the commitment stick? Those questions and more were discussed and you can listen below.
Bradford discussed his official visit to Liberty from last month exclusively with ASOR, saying the Flames were one of his front-runners at the time. The 6’0″, 185 pound prospect attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is rated as either a four-star or three-star prospect depending on which service you look at. Bradford’s addition can help catapult this class and the Liberty program into the next level.
He has a long list of offers including several from the Power Five such as Penn State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, South Carolina, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.
Bradford’s Group of Five offers include Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, UNLV, and UAB.
Bradford is originally from South Carolina where he attended Chapin High School before transferring to national powerhouse IMG Academy. Many had South Carolina and Penn State as the favorites for the talented quarterback, and he had announced a top three of USC, Penn State, and NC State in March before the Flames got heavily involved.
