Week in Review:
The Flames had 2 midweek games and split against in-state schools. Liberty first went to Williamsburg and defeated W&M 6-2, and then headed west to Charlottesville where they lost to Virginia 7-2.
This past weekend, Liberty opened conference play in impressive fashion as they swept Charleston Southern by a combined score of 19-7.

Player of the Week:
RHP/C Danny Grauer
Grauer had a very impressive week including a pinch-hit 3-run homerun in the 7th inning on Sunday to help lead the Flames to the 3-1 victory over Charleston Southern. For the week Grauer was 4/11 with 6 RBI’s, 2 runs, 1 double, 1 triple, and 1 homerun. He also had a bases clearing single, how often does that happen?!
Next up:
Liberty heads on the road this week to take on ACC & in-state opponent Virginia Tech, and then heads south to North Carolina for a 3 game series with Big South North Division rival High Point.
