Liberty’s 3 signees from the November signing period, Kyle Rode, Marten Maide, and Shiloh Robinson, have all gotten off to solid starts in their senior seasons.
Rode had consecutive 30-10 games for Lexington Christian Academy recently as he recorded 33 points and 12 rebounds followed by 35 points and 14 rebounds. The 6’5″ forward was held to 13 points against the #1 team in the state of Kentucky Scott County.
Maide recently went over 1,000 career points as he’s averaging just over 10 points a game for 12-0 Carmel Christian who is one of the top teams in the country.
Robinson had eye-popping numbers in his two games this weekend, as he finished with 38 points and 15 rebounds and 18 points and 11 rebounds in back-to-back games.
With the NLIs from those 3, 2019 is full unless there are any changes during the off-season. So, Coach McKay and his staff have begun focusing on the 2020 class. The Flames currently have 3 offers to 2020 prospects in Drake Dobbs, Isiah Warfield, and Dean Reiber.
Dobbs is a 6’1″ point guard from Eden Prairie, Minnesota where he attends Eden Prairie High School. He also has offers from North Dakota State and Milwaukee.
Warfield is a 6’4″ point guard from Sewickley Academy in Pennsylvania. He also has offers from Southern Utah, Hampton, and Duquense. The Flames’ coaching staff stopped in to check on him over the weekend.
Reiber is a 6’9″ forward from Greensboro, North Carolina’s Northwest Guilford High School. He also has offers from High Point, Charlotte, Elon, and Rice.
