Game 1: #1S Charleston Southern vs #2N VMI
VMI jumped out to the early lead, but they were unable to hang on as Charleston Southern won 71-65. The Buccaneers were led by a career high 33 points from Arlon Harper. Saah Nimley added 14 points and 12 rebounds. VMI’s Rodney Glasgow finished with 31 points. Big South Player of the Year Stan Okoye struggled as he shot just 4/16 from the field. Okoye finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Game 2: #2S Gardner-Webb vs #5N Liberty
Liberty continues its hot play as they dispatch the hottest team in the league Gardner-Webb 65-62. The Flames were led by John Caleb Sanders who finished with 19 points. Joel Vander Pol had 11 points and 7 rebounds in just 15 minutes. Gardner-Webb’s solid season came to end. The Runnin’ Bulldogs were paced by four players who reach double figures led by Tashan Newsome and Max Landis who each had 15.

Charleston Southern vs Liberty – Sunday Noon ESPN2
Charleston Southern has not been to the Big Dance since 1997 while Liberty looks for its first NCAA Tournament birth since 2004.
