What a year it was for the Bold Predictions Challenge! With 27 total participants, the field was extremely tough this year.
We had quite the finish as GlobalAdvance was able to just edge FLAMEfromBAMA for the overall victory, with the dropped scores being the difference. If the users of both of these accounts email jon@libertyflamesnation.com, you will be able to claim your prizes.
No matter where you finished on the leaderboard, thanks for making this another great season of Bold Predictions. I hope you all had as much fun playing as I had making up the questions. Until next year!
As the 2015 Flames Nation Bold Predictions Challenge champion, I first want to thank God, my family, and my little dog, Billy.
After finishing in second place in 2014, my team and I went back to the drawing board and designed a series of grueling off-season workouts that would propel us into this year’s winner’s circle. By the time the Bold Predictions Challenge season began, I had lowered my percentage of body fat, added muscle, and increased my endurance. So I entered this football predictions season in the best shape of my life.
Our team’s predictions strategy also worked to perfection. We hung back at the start and then quickly worked ourselves into second place behind the leader, BAMA. There we stayed for several weeks until it was the right time to strike. And then, like a fine thoroughbred heading into the home stretch, we overtook him with three weeks to go and maintained our lead to the finish line! Sorry, Bama!
Thanks to Jon, Duke, and Troy for a great contest. I look forward to defending my title next year. As Nature Boy Ric Flair would say, “If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best!” I’ll be ready for next year, will you?
