There’s about 14 people still in legitimate contention to win the free 2015 tickets, so every week could be a big moving week.

As is usual, leave the number of your picks in the comments section. 8 points for every correct prediction, -3 for every incorrect prediction. Good luck!

1. Josh Woodrum surpasses 7,000 career passing yards this week.

woodrum2Why this is bold- Woodrum is averaging 263 yards per game. He’ll need 349 yards to get to 7,000. He has only surpassed 349 yards once this year (Appy State).

Why it will happen- Josh seems to step up to the plate when needed. Presbyterian has been tough to run against this year, so his arm will definitely be needed.

2.Demarcus Rouse is the game’s leading rusher.

Why this is bold- Rouse is only averaging 70 yards to D.J. Abnar’s 94. Even if Abnar doesn’t play, Liberty’s feature back will have an advantage due to the Flames’ O-Line strength.

Why it will happen- There is a very good chance that Liberty runs a committee of backs even if Abnar is able to go. They will want to either limit Abnar if he plays, or if he doesn’t play, there won’t really be a feature back to run.

3. Stephon Masha records a touchdown (passing included).

Why this is bold- Masha has a total of 0 touchdowns on the year.

Why it will happen- Stephon has seen his role in the offense increased every week. He is averaging a ridiculous 9 yards per rush. Granted we only have a limited sample of 11 attempts on the year, we know he is a great runner, and will be used even more this week. Also, it is only a matter of time before Masha steps back and chucks one on a pitch play.

4. Jacob Hagen forces a turnover.

hagenWhy this is bold- He didn’t force a turnover against Gardner-Webb, so he must not be very good anymore.

Why it will happen- Don’t overthink it. It’s Jacob Hagen. I’m giving you a freebie here.

5. Dante Shells or Darrin Peterson record a 60+ yard reception touchdown.

Dante Shells broke out against App State with 164 receiving yards

Why this is bold- 60+ yards on a single play by particular players? It doesn’t much more bold than that.

Why it will happen- No one has been able to stop this two headed monster all year. If they limit one, the other guy goes off. Teams know what’s coming, and they still can’t stop the deep ball to Peterson and Shells.

6. John Lunford hits a 50+ yard field goal.

Why this is bold- There is a very good chance that he doesn’t even get the opportunity.

Why it will happen- Lunsford is at the top of his game right now. He’s kicking with confidence, and it seems like the further away the field goal is, the more comfortable he is.

 7. A tight end scores a touchdown.

Why this is bold- Liberty’s tight ends have only scored two touchdowns all year. Meanwhile, Presbyterian isn’t throwing the ball much at all, averaging 145 yards per game.

Why it will happen- Dexter Herman and Kendall Couamin have both been solid options this year for the Flames. It’s surprising how little Liberty has used them when in the red zone, but that may change this week.

Bonus (8 points): Which yardage amount will be greater?

A) Liberty’s leader in all-purpose yards .

B) Heys McMath’s passing yards.
