One of the biggest thrills of the bowl game experience for the players is the extra Christmas gifts they receive at their bowl destination. Thanks to Sports Business Journal’s annual bowl game gift guide, we’re able to see the loot each player will receive at the 2021 Lending Tree Bowl. The NCAA sets a limit of $550 per person that the gifts are not able to exceed.
The Liberty Flames are in Mobile, Alabama for Saturday’s game in the Lending Tree Bowl against Eastern Michigan. All Liberty and Eastern Michigan players will receive a gift suite where they can select a YoBow Massage Pistol in one of eight colors. Based on the color the player chooses, the company will make a donation to one or two of 15 charities.
Gift suites have become the most common way of distributing bowl game gifts. Either online or in-person, according to NCAA rules, up to 125 game participants per school are given an order form and allowed to shop for an item or items.
