Update: According to a school release, Stamn has been named Special Teams Coordinator in addition to his role as tight ends and fullbacks coach. The release also confirmed Dailey’s appointment as offensive coordinator.
Per FootballScoop, Coach Gill is making a couple changes on the offensive side of the ball. Passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Joe Dailey has been promoted to offensive coordinator, while Aaron Stamn will stay on as tight ends and fullbacks coach but will relinquish the offensive coordinator responsibilities.
The move comes on the heels of the Flames’ offensive production declining for each of the past 3 seasons. Liberty’s offense scored an average of 25.9 points per game in 2015, the lowest it has been since 2006. The Flames finished 2015 a disappointing 6-5, failing to reach the FCS Playoffs.
