McClain is a 2-star rated prospect according to 247Sports. He committed to Liberty in early June over offers from Akron, Army, South Alabama, and several FCS schools. The 6’0″, 165 pound cornerback is from Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia.
Liberty’s class of 2021 currently stands at 17 commitments, including commitments from defensive backs Jaiden Hill, Rocket Rahimi, and Amarian Williams. Hill did tweet earlier this week that his recruitment was 100% open though he maintains he is a Liberty commit according to his twitter profile.
