Liberty picked up another commitment this weekend, as linebacker D.J. Humes pledged.
Humes is a 6’0″, 200 pound prospect from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He had offers from Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, Missouri, Northern Illinois, Pitt, Southern Miss, and Syracuse. Humes is a 3-star rated prospect according to ESPN.
He’s added to a class that includes wide receiver/defensive back Tim Coutras who committed on Saturday. The rest of the 2020 class includes DE Lincorey Lucas, LB Jerome Jolly, and athletes Cameron Hunter and Louis Taylor. Four of these commitments have come in the past week as the Flames have welcomed hundreds of prospects to campus for Hugh Freeze’s football camps.
