LC Bird quarterback Terrance Ervin has decommitted from Liberty. Ervin committed to Liberty this Summer and had offers from Liberty, Charlotte, and Norfolk State at the time. He notified Liberty head coach Turner Gill of his decision earlier this week. Ervin helped guide LC Bird to the 2012 Virginia State Championship following a 14-0 season, and has led them to a 6-0 start this season.
From a story on Recruit804: “It was a tough decision but I had a personal change of heart” said Terrance. “I appreciate the hospitality and the sense of family the Liberty staff showed my family and I during my visits and wish them the best of luck.”
Wake Forest, Ohio, and JMU have recently picked up their interest in the 6’3″ quarterback, and he hopes this list will grow in the coming weeks as he seeks to guide the Skyhawks to their 2nd consecutive state championship.
