Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. was interviewed on a local radio show Thursday morning. In his 13 minute interview, President Falwell discussed many topics, but he was also asked about Turner Gill’s job status following the football team’s 4 game losing streak. Well, a lot of people have been calling for his firing. You can’t judge a coach’s value by just one factor like a string of losses. He took us to the playoffs, the previous coach never did that, won a game in the playoffs. The jury is still out on what he can do for us, and, so, no decisions have been made.
