Liberty has offered the 2018 prospect, Kristian Sjolund, from Oslo, Norway. Sjolund is a 6’8″, 180 pound prospect who attends Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. He is a 4-star rated prospect according to Scout and ESPN with offers from Texas-Arlington, Tulsa, Saint Mary’s, Houston Baptist, Boise State, High Point, Rice, and Georgia Tech.
Sjolund has been described as being able to “really score the ball. He can score anywhere on the floor whether it be from 3, midrange, or around the rim. He has good form and foot work, with a high release on his jumpshot, where his range extends beyond the 3-point line. He has the ability to shoot off the pull, catch, or move. He is a pretty good ball handler where he has the ability to create separation with a pullback or step-back, but is also crafty enough to get to the rim, where he is a good finisher.”
