Los Angeles Chargers defensive end, Jessie Lemonier, was recently promoted to the Chargers active roster on Saturday Nov. 7.
Other #Chargers roster moves:
• Signed DE Jessie Lemonier to the active roster
• Activated RB Kallen Ballage and DB Quenton Meeks from the practice squad
• Signed DB Jaylen Watkins to the practice squad https://t.co/HExZ4RnB11— Daniel Popper (@danielrpopper) November 7, 2020
Lemonier was previously on the active roster of the Chargers for weeks three through five. By week five, Lemonier managed to appear in almost 50% of the Chargers special team snaps (Played 42%). Despite being called up to the active roster the day before the Chargers’ week nine matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, Lemonier was made inactive for the game.

The reason for Lemonier being made inactive is unclear at the time, but it could have been because he was brought up from the practice squad just the day prior. Regardless, he will look to be on the field for the Chargers’ week 10 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He may struggle to get on the field on the defense, but he may be out their for special teams reps.
