Liberty and Coach Gill have picked up the 5th verbal commit in the class of 2017 from Jayod Sanders. Sanders attends Leon High School in Tallahassee, Florida where he plays linebacker, defensive end, and tight end. The 6’3″, 215 pound prospect had committed to NC Central a couple months ago, but he decommitted from NCCU and has committed to Coach Gill and the Flames. He will play on the defensive line at Liberty.
Sanders joins a class that includes offensive lineman Cooper McCaw (no relation to new AD Ian McCaw), wide receiver Khaleb Coleman, linebacker Remington Green, and defensive back Aaron Pierre.
Blessed to say that I’ve recommitted to Liberty University ??? pic.twitter.com/pIKwRmWWBg

WOW, we stole a commit from NCCU…………………….. big freaking deal. Are you watching the FCS playoffs? We aren’t even in the same class/league as these schools. It is going to take a lot more than this to make a difference.
