This morning Liberty picked up commitments from three JUCO football prospects, Solomon Ajayi, Kedrick Bradley, and Charles “Trey” Franklin.
Ajayi is a 6’2″, 220 pound linebacker from Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California. He’s originally from Frisco, Texas, and is the younger brother of Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi. This past season, he played in 10 games at Bakersfield as he recorded 50 tackles and 1 sack. Ajayi will be eligible for the 2017 season and has 3 seasons to complete 2 years of eligibility.
Bradley is a 6’1″, 225 pound linebacker from Ventura College in Ventura, California. He’s originally from Hixson, Tennessee, and in 2014 played for Division II Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, Tennessee, where he redshirted. In high school he played on both sides of the ball, excelling as a running back and linebacker. He was named 1st-team All State and District Player of the Year following his senior season. This past season at Ventura, he recorded 77 tackles.
Franklin is a 6’3″, 290 pound defensive lineman who was a teammate of Bradley’s at Ventura College and a high school teammate at Hixson High School in Tennessee. This past season at Ventura, Franklin recorded 38 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
