For fans hungry to watch their favorite pro football team, the preseason begins Thursday night for most of the NFL. Currently, there are four former Liberty players on NFL rosters, all fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster during the preseason.
QB MALIK WILLIS
Willis was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft by the Tennessee Titans. He solidified himself as Ryan Tannehill’s backup but had a bit of an up and down rookie season. The Titans drafted Will Levis this year and now Willis finds himself once again competing for a 53-man roster spot during the preseason.

WR DEMARIO DOUGLAS
Douglas was drafted in the 6th round of this past year’s draft by the New England Patriots where he has been turning heads around the league. He is still looking to secure his spot on the 53-man roster for this season and can continue to build the hype around him during the preseason.

DE DURRELL JOHNSON
Johnson was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys following the 2023 draft. He will be looking to turn heads and grab the attention of his team executives during training camp and this preseason.

CB DURON LOWE
The talented corner was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Rams following the 2022 draft and was waived just ahead of the 2022 season. He is now on the practice squad for the Tampa Bay Bucs and looking to find a home there this preseason.
