Today, FlamesNation celebrates its 2nd birthday. As a way to celebrate, here’s a look at a timeline of important milestones and articles from our first 2 years:
9/21/12 – FlamesNation was born! We started on twitter, facebook, and at luflamesnation.blogspot.com.
11/1/12 – LibertyFlamesNation.com domain name registered.
11/8/12 – Who can forget the announcement of Tim Tebow speaking at convocation? Yep, you heard it here first!
2/19/13 – Longwood Hate Day
4/9/13 – Throughout the history of the site, you have always loved any conference realignment news we could provide you. Here’s a link to those articles: JMU-Sun Belt Correspondence, Map of potential Sun Belt Conference members in 2014, E-mail exchange between Benson & Bourne, Details on our FOIA Request.
8/16/13 – We added instagram to our array of social media sites! Give us a follow!
8/23/13 – The announced merger of FlamesNation and FlameFans and the redesigned look of LibertyFlamesNation.com.
1/1/14 – Jacob Hagen is named the inaugural winner of the FlamesNation Player of the Year award.
8/25/14 – The FlamesNation Podcast was launched.
9/17/14 – Arosto became FlamesNation’s first sponsor.
From the day Duke and I started this site, our main goal and focus has been to make FlamesNation the #1 source of news and information for all things Liberty University Athletics. Thank you all for joining us for this ride, and we look forward to continued success and growth in the coming years!
All Liberty. All Day.
