If you’re like me, you’re having a difficult time keeping up with football recruiting based on the flurry of activity and commitments the past week. Here’s a quick update on where the Flames stand with the Class of 2016.
5 commitments in past week
OL Damian Bounds, Jr
Bounds was the first to commit last week, setting off a chain reaction of 5 commitments in rapid succession. The Stockbridge, Georgia prospect is one of four offensive lineman to commit to Liberty this summer.

K Alex Probert
Probert committed to Liberty on Saturday. He also had an offer from Army, and will look to compete for the starting kicker spot in 2016 as John Lunsford graduates.

One other commitment came in on Friday which has not yet surfaced. Based off tweets from the coaching staff, this mystery recruit is a quarterback from Miami. That description fits Stephen Calvert, who the Flames offered in May. I wouldn’t be shocked if Calvert’s commitment to Liberty becomes public news in the next week or so.
Commitment #7 came in today for the class of 2016!!! Miami —> Lynchburg #GoFlames
