Chris Robinson has been added to the Spring Football Roster. Robinson is a defensive back who was originally at Kansas and most recently at Tennessee State. Robinson is originally from Sanford, Florida. He is listed as a Redshirt-Sophomore and 5’9″ 165 lbs.
He redshirted his first season at Kansas in 2011 when Turner Gill was still the head coach. Current Liberty Defensive Coordinator Robert Wimberly was the lead recruiter to get Robinson to Kansas. Robinson ranked #19 in the state of Florida when coming out of high school. He has been measured with 4.4 40 speed and a vertical leap of 32 inches.
Robinson was dismissed from the Kansas football team by new Kansas head coach Charlie Weis in April 2012 for a “violation of team rules”. In June of 2012, he ended up at Tennessee State.
