Former Liberty head basketball coach Ritchie McKay is interested in the Old Dominion head coach vacancy according to sources. McKay was Liberty’s head coach during the 2007-08 & 2008-09 seasons. He helped guide the Flames to a 23-12 record in 2009. After the 2009 seasons, McKay left Liberty to become the associate head coach at the University of Virginia.

Others also interested in the job include NC State associate head coach Bobby Lutz, Missouri assistant coach Dave Leitao, and Louisville assistant coach Kevin Keatts.
