Two Liberty leaders will join head coach Jamey Chadwell when the Flames contingent travels to Arlington, Texas on Tuesday, July 25, to participate in the annual Conference USA Media Day.
The pair joining Coach Chadwell are offensive lineman X’Zauvea Gadlin and safety Quinton Reese.
Gadlin, who transferred to Liberty from Tulsa prior to the start of the 2022 season, is a returning starting offensive lineman for the Flames. He started 22 games at Tulsa, primarily at guard, before transferring to Liberty. Gadlin is originally from Arlington as he will be returning to his hometown for CUSA Media Day.
Reese is a 6’0″, 190 pound defensive back who has emerged as a team leader in recent months. He finished the 2022 season with 29 tackles and one interception, and is expected to have a much larger on field impact for the Flames in 2023.
