Liberty’s baseball team is currently in Jacksonville, Florida where the Flames will look to bring home a second straight conference tournament championship and secure its spot in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The Flames have had themselves a tremendous season, one of the best regular seasons in school history.
Should Liberty falter this weekend in Jacksonville, the Flames will have a very compelling case to be included in the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team. Certainly head coach Scott Jackson and his team are focused on winning the conference championship this weekend, but with the NCAA Tournament field being announced on Monday, here’s a look at how Liberty’s resume stacks up against several of the teams that are considered to be on the bubble.
The Division I NCAA Tournament field will be officially unveiled on Monday, May 31 at noon eastern on ESPN2.
