Former Liberty University assistant basketball coach Jason Eaker is joining the Mercer University men’s basketball program as he announced earlier this month.

Eaker has been a part of the Liberty men’s basketball coaching staff since 2005. Mercer competes in the Atlantic Sun where they went 14-4 and 24-12 overall this past season. The Bears won the regular season conference championship before losing to Florida Gulf Coast in the conference tournament. Mercer advanced to the NIT where they defeated Tennessee in the 1st round prior to falling to BYU.
