The Big South Conference has announced the 2010-19 Big South men’s basketball all-decade team and Liberty’s Jesse Sanders was named to the list.

Liberty competed in the Big South Conference for 27 years before joining the ASUN in all-sports prior to the 2018-19 season.

Sanders concluded his career with a program record four career triple-doubles. He currently ranks No. 20 on Liberty’s all-time scoring list with 1,235 career points. Sanders also ranks 6th in school history with 815 career rebounds and is the program leader with 727 career assists, also a Big South record.

Sanders is the only player in Big South history to score 1,000 points, grab 500 rebounds, and record 500 assists. In 2011, he was an Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention selection and was named the Big South Player of the Year.
